Something always bothered me about the old portrait and I was never quite able to point a finger at it and no attempt to fix it quite worked. I hoped that starting again from a scratch would finally give him some justice, and well, I guess it did. I'm way happier with it now... sorta. He looks good, for a dead man.

Janos Bran, the blind servant of the Raven Queen, Branwenn's master

A NPC in our long-run DnD campaign.

Janos fulfilled his purpose, becoming a living image of Raven Queen in one of the domains of dread. He had to leave his little dear behind, but he knows very well that death is just a beginning.

The title is inspired by a song by 30 Seconds to Mars, This Is War. I have plans to make a whole serie of portraits related to that song. Let's see how patient I am.
